Buitenhaven and Buitenkerk

The Buitenhaven (outside harbour) is the main harbour of Kampen, where one can find visiting yachts as well as a replica of a 14th century freight ship (a Kogge). This view includes the tower of the Roman Catholic Buitenkerk (outside church), which dates back to the 14th century. The "buiten" (outside) part of these two sites refers to the fact that they were outside the original city walls.
