Old city hall

One of the oldest and most characteristic buildings of Kampen. The gothic old city hall dates back to the 14th century. Originally it was a wine house, before it was turned into the city hall. In 2001, a modern city hall outside the ancient city centre was built, and the old building was converted to house the Kampen City Museum. The photograph was taken before the iconic cow sculpture was re-instated on the small square in front of the building.
